DMEXCO 25 Competition Terms and Conditions
General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for participation in the DMEXCO ticket raffle.
(As of July 2025)
1. General Terms and Conditions of Participation
The organizer of the competition (hereinafter referred to as the "raffle") is webit! Gesellschaft für Neue Medien mbH, located at Bärensteiner Straße 30, 01277 Dresden, Germany (hereinafter referred to as "webit!").
By participating in this raffle, all participants expressly agree to the terms and conditions. The decision of webit! on all matters relating to the competition is final and binding for the participants.
Participation is free.
2. Timeframe
The raffle starts on 14.07.2026 at 10:00 am. The deadline for participation is on 23.08.2026 at 11:59 pm (hereinafter referred to as the promotional period). The drawing of the winners will take place on 24.08.2026.
Registrations submitted before or after the promotional period cannot be considered.
3. Eligibility
The raffle is open to individuals who meet the following requirements:
The participant must be a natural person residing in Germany/Austria/Switzerland.
The participant must be 18 years or older.
The participant must fill out the form on the Raffle page Fill out and submit within the promotional period.
Participants are only allowed to participate under their own name and/or email address. It is strictly prohibited for the same participant to enter the draw under multiple names and/or email addresses or to participate through an account opened in another person's name.
4. Exclusion from the raffle
Executives and employees of webit!, including their spouses, children, or direct relatives, close relatives, or other individuals who may benefit from the draw or influence the outcome of the draw, are excluded from participating in the draw and are not entitled to a prize.
Legal entities/companies are excluded from participation.
5. Profit
Regardless of the number of participants, there will be only two (2) winners in the raffle.
Two (2) participants have the chance to win one DMEXCO ticket each worth 279.00 euros.
6. Rules of the game
The raffle will take place on 24.08.2025.
The raffle is conducted by webit!. The winner will be selected by an automatic random selection from all eligible participants.
A cash payment, change, or exchange of the prize is not possible.
The claim to the prize is not transferable or assignable.
Participation in the raffle does not obligate to enter into contracts with webit!. Entering into contracts with webit! does not affect the chance of winning.
webit! reserves the right to disqualify any participant, withhold or revoke a prize if there is reasonable suspicion that the participant has violated the terms of these terms and conditions.
The price decisions made by webit! are final, non-negotiable, and non-appealable.
7. Notification and Expiry
After the raffle has been completed and the winner has been announced, the selected winner will be promptly informed via email about the procedure for claiming the prize.
The winner must accept the prize in writing, stating their full name, within three (3) calendar days from the date of notification.
Prices that are not accepted within the deadline mentioned above will expire, and another participant will be drawn as the winner.
webit! will send the prize to the winner via email to the email address provided by the winner.
8. Disqualification of winners and/or participants
webit! reserves the right to withdraw prizes, withhold prizes, or disqualify participants at its own discretion at any stage of the draw for the following reasons:
The participant has deviated from the rules of the draw and has tried to manipulate the outcome in order to participate in the draw or win a prize.
It is practically impossible to get in touch with the winner.
The selected winner is not fully legally competent under applicable law or belongs to the participants who are excluded from participating in the draw according to clause 4.
Non-compliance with the terms and conditions.
The handover of the prize to the winner would be illegal under current law.
9. Cancellation of the raffle
webit! reserves the right to interrupt, modify or cancel the raffle at any time for important reasons without prior notice. An important reason exists in particular if a proper implementation of the raffle cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons.
If such a case is caused by the behavior of a participant, webit! can demand compensation for the damage incurred from this participant.
10. Limitation of liability
By participating in the raffle, the participant agrees to indemnify webit!, managing director, representatives, employees, successors in title, and assignees from any losses, damages, claims, demands, and other liabilities of any kind that webit! incurs as a result of claims by third parties arising from the participant's participation in the raffle, violation of the present terms and conditions, and/or the acceptance, receipt, use, and/or abuse of the prize.
Disclaimer! webit! cannot be held liable for any damages of any kind (personal, physical, material, financial, or otherwise) resulting from the use of the prize, as neither the manufacturer of the prize nor the provider of the service that the prize may represent is webit!.
The winner undertakes not to resell the prize and is solely responsible for the selection and use of the prize.
To the extent permitted by law, webit! shall not be liable in any way for claims arising from losses, injuries, damages, or costs incurred by participants in connection with the prizes offered, including but not limited to claims arising from defects in the prizes or from losses caused by such defects, or from losses arising from incorrect or inaccurate information provided to the winner. webit! shall only be liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of webit!, its legal representatives, or vicarious agents.
By accepting these terms and conditions and participating in the raffle, the participant declares that this decision is voluntary and made of their own free will, and that the participant is legally responsible and liable for any losses, damages, or legal costs incurred by participating in the raffle.
11. Data protection
Personal data of all participants and winners will only be processed to the extent and for the duration necessary for the execution of the raffle and the handling of the prize in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, unless consent to receive the webit! newsletter has been given. Personal data such as name, first name, and email address will be processed by webit! in accordance with legal regulations.

12. Announcements
The parties hereby acknowledge that all communications within the framework of this agreement shall be made in writing. Communications and correspondence between the parties may be sent by fax, email, or by registered mail/courier to the receiving party. Such communication or correspondence shall be deemed received three (3) days after sending, in the case of registered mail/courier, upon delivery of the correspondence to a reputable courier service for immediate delivery to the addressee in a properly addressed package.
13. Invalid provision
If one or more provisions of this Agreement are declared invalid, illegal, void or unenforceable in any respect by law or a competent court, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these terms shall in no way be affected, influenced or impaired.
14. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany and shall be interpreted according to this law.
Should disputes arise between the parties regarding the interpretation and/or application of these terms and conditions that cannot be resolved amicably, these disputes will be submitted to the German courts.
