Connection information
Yourney offers a user-friendly route planner that shines on all devices. The input of starting and destination points can be done via text input (with intelligent auto-completion), through geolocation on the smartphone, or by selecting a point on an interactive map. Adding waypoints is also possible, as well as configuring numerous options for the optimal route (maximum walking speed, preference for modes of transportation, and more). The display of different route options is clear and even includes information about detours, if they could be imported from the previous system.
Stop information
When does the train or bus arrive at the stop near me? Yourneys stop information shows that. The stop can be selected via text input, geolocation, or on a map. If multiple stops are found nearby, results for multiple stops will be presented as well.
Interactive Map
Many users, especially when they are unfamiliar with the area, like to use interactive maps to select starting and destination points or to determine the best route. That is why we have placed great emphasis on the integration of high-quality maps with convenient, interactive elements. Each point can be clicked on and defined as a starting or destination point. Stops can be selected to find out about the next departures. Yourneys maps can even be supplemented with additional information, such as the location of ticket machines.
Deviation from planned data and fault reports
Many public transport systems today not only have schedule data, but also real-time data from vehicles. If such information is available in the upstream systems, Yourney can also display it when showing connections or departure times at stops. This way, your customers always know whether the train or bus is on time and follows the "usual" route.
